Year 6 Transition Sessions

We are delighted to welcome our incoming Year 7 students to Orchard House as part of our weekly transition sessions. These sessions are designed to help students feel confident, comfortable and excited about the next stage of their education.

Each week, Year 6 students visit Orchard House to familiarise themselves with the school environment, meet staff, and take part in a range of engaging activities alongside our existing students. From collaborative learning tasks to creative and practical activities, these sessions give students a real taste of life at Orchard House while helping them build friendships and develop confidence.

Transition is an important step, and these visits allow students to settle in gradually, ask questions and feel supported as they prepare for their new journey. It has been wonderful to see their enthusiasm grow with each visit.

We are so excited to continue welcoming these students and look forward to supporting them as they begin their journey at Orchard House.
