Orchard House Welcomes Families and Special Guests at Grand Opening Celebration

Orchard House was filled with excitement and smiles as we celebrated our Grand Opening on Tuesday 24 March 2026. Parents, Trust Leaders, Governors and our very special guest Lord Mayor Carmine Grimshaw joined us for an afternoon that truly marked the beginning of our school’s new journey.

The event began with warm speeches and a ribbon cutting that officially opened our doors. It was a proud moment for everyone who has been part of bringing Orchard House to life.

Throughout the afternoon, guests enjoyed a wide range of activities that showed the spirit of our school. There were music soundscapes, an inspiring art exhibition, animal petting, a cheerful ice cream van, a vibrant steel pan band, a creative planting workshop and a thoughtful time capsule activity where families could leave messages for the future.

Guests also took part in guided tours around the school. Parents joined their children to take part in multiple activities around the school. This gave everyone the chance to meet staff, ask questions and see the learning spaces that our pupils enjoy since we opened Orchard House in 2025.
